This post reviews four titles directed by Rex Borsky-- the best loops
director in the business today. His B/G and G/G titles have set a new
standard for quality and consistancy for inexpensive Adult video. I am
not going to review all loops in all videos-- I'll just mention a couple
of hightlights from each film.
... I am an amateur video buff-- I describe only what *I* like,
sometimes I mis-identify a performer, or leave out a feature you might be
interested in. These notes should give you a general sense for whether or
not you would like to rent the video.

HERE IS WHAT YOU GET:
Borsky runs the best camera in the Adult business. He almost always
frames an image well and points the camera at what you want to see. He
occasionally uses a fish-eye lense to intensify close-ups-- he's learned
to use it well in the last two years. He uses warm (orange) lighting to
add warmth and intimacy to his scenes.
Borsky's loops strike a perfect balance between cool, slick beauty and
graphic intensity. He's the only XXX director who films loops *I* like,
that I can also enjoy with my significant other. I have never seen a bad
Borsky tape. He absolutely should have directed 'Showgirls.' --he and
Annette Haven would have saved that movie.
Borsky selects beautiful people to tape. He instructs his performers to
move slowly and with athletic grace--but seldom with vigor. He places his
performers in comfortable, almost opulent "fern-bar livingroom"
surroundings ( --probably his house). He emphasizes friendly chemistry
between his performers over physical intensity.
His loops run about 20 minutes, usually four loops per tape. Action in
each loop starts quickly, moving from oral, through maybe five easy
vaginal and anal positions before ending an a (sometimes lame) cumshot.
He uses the fish-eye lense occasionally in the last half of the loop, to
heighten intensity, and it works for me. Borsky de-emphasizes finger fun
and stretch shots, but two fingers occasionaly find their way to heaven in
one loop or another. He almost never shoots a splay-legged "crab" shot,
but is the master of the doggy. Maybe forty per cent of a Borsky tape
will show vaginal/anal penetration-- a very high ratio, even when compared
to more graphic tapes on the shelf next to his.
Borsky loops have three weaknesses:
1) Borsky can't shoot a group scene. His camera often misses the action;
his editor tries to make up for it with lots of badly chosen edit-cuts--
As a consequence, you don't know who the Hell you're looking at half the
time. His techniques destroy performer intensity, waste his girls, and
destroy viewer interest.
2) In general, Borsky needs more athletic positions in his loops. I want
to see a girl twisted into a full-crab or half-crab, or tossed into a
hammock or swing occasionally. Nothing nasty; just MORE intensity.
3) Borsky's loops are slick and beautiful, but I'd like to see him err on
the side of graphic intensity more than he does. It wouldn't hurt to see
the friendly warmth always between his performers mature into enthusiastic
lust for each other just once in a while.

NORMA JEAN, ANAL LEGEND
This is a popular title, stocked in every video section I've been in for
two years-- that's why it's on this list. Actually, this tape is not
Borsky's best.
Norma Jean appears in three scenes but doesn't dominate this movie. She
isn't as responsive or athletic as other girls on this tape. She looks
NOTHING like Marilyn Monroe. Norma Jean is NOT an 'Anal Legend'. The
fish-eye lense is sometimes out of focus and sometimes overdone. Satome,
Janet Jackme and Marilyn Martin all perform well within Borsky's formula.

ANAL CANDY ASS
This is a good older tape. It is probably popular because it contains two
great Heather St.Claire loops. HsC is a leggy, camera-friendly 24+, with
shoulder-length frizzy died-blonde hair and polystyrene tits. She moves
with lots of athletic grace and poses beautifully, but expresses little
sexual heat. A younger, skinnier Tammy Ann is in the last scene-- she is
known for her enthusiasm and unusual politions in other loops, but she has
to subdue these qualities to fit Borsky's formula in this tape. Borsky's
fish-eye and cowgirl shots still make her a star.

ANAL HELLRAISER
This is an example of Borsky's current Anal offerings. Borsky has been a
little off his feed this year-- this tape stars the same coven of
camera-neutral girls that I've seen in three other ho-hum videos as well.
Bunny Bleu in her redheaded phase is a diesel-powered mechanic of lust,
but my battery's dead: She has too many scars and still chews too much
scenery. Monique De Moan is everywhere this Fall-- she has a nice little
baby-fat body, but I've seen scarecrows that were more responsive.
Brittany O'Connell fucks like she's paying off an old IRS bill-- Tom Byron
uses a condom. Abby, the oldest performer here, produces the most heat,
but the camera can't get to the best angles. This isn't a bad video, but
I wouldn't pick it out as my FIRST choice in the video store.

BOOTY HO 3
This is a very good recent Anal tape. Three of four loops are average.
YOU will probably rent this tape over and over again, for the Alex Dane
Double- penetration scene with Jon Dough and Marc Wallace.
Alex is an 20-23 yr/old Mex-Irish(?) newcomer. She has long straight brown
hair, natural small tits, and carries seven extra lbs on a slim 5;4"
frame. This is enough to add interesting curves to her body, but she
definitely jiggles when things get intense. She has an expressive face
(unusual in porn) with a rounded chin, soft mouth, pleading eyes-- she's
elegant when she gives head. She's assiduously friendly and warm, and
she's probably very bright: A turn-on for me. Alex is one of the few
new performers who have real on-screen presence. (similar to Vanessa
Chase, Tammi Ann and Paisley Hunter). I've seen her now in two terrible
Max Hardcore loops (Max's fault) and one great Anabolic Video Nasty
Newcomers #6 loop (which I'm told, is ALSO a DP).
Alex walks on camera 40 minutes into the tape. She steps into a hot tub
with Marc Wallace. Jon Dough soon joins them. It's a normal well-done
Borsky loop for eleven minutes, until Alex bends over and points her butt
toward the skyline. You know you are going to watch something unusual
when Borsky turns on the fish-eye lense, and John and Marc put three
fingers into Alex's ass and stretch it into a triangle.
What follows is an almost-perfectly filmed and performed seven-minute DP--
nobody is soft; nobody falls out; Alex isn't in pain; her beautiful ass is
well-lighted, and Borsky shoots plenty of well-chosen close-ups . At one
point, Alex rocks her ass as both guys pump enthusiastically-- this is a
simple pose that brings DP action alive for the viewer-- but it is very
difficult to perform (so I'm told). The scene ends in two good two-squirt
facials.
ALSO: In scene two, Jake Steed delivers a loopy, four-squirt facial to
Lisa Lennox, a slim athletic brunette, in a otherwise average loop.
NOTE: Paisley Hunter DOES NOT APPEAR in Booty Ho 3 even though
she was credited-- she was probably off doing 'Whoreo' with
Al Borda that day. Rent 'Whoreo' if you like Paisley.

169 “I can arrange all that.” Such Apaches as had not gone back on the war-path returned to the States with the troops; but there were five months more of the outrages of Geronimo and his kind. Ditch and Ginner even suggested to Vennal that they should club together and buy thirty acres or so of the Moor themselves, just to spite him. However, money was too precious to throw away even on such an object, especially as everyone felt sure that Backfield would sooner or later "bust himself" in his dealings with Boarzell. "Let's go home," she said faintly—"it's getting late."
